Picture Perfect Transition: Preparing A Child with Hearing Loss and the Family for an Appropriate Preschool Setting after Early Intervention Services.

Description

This workshop is about how you can best prepare for the transition from early intervention to a preschool setting for children with hearing loss. Parents and professionals are invited to learn about the language based concepts and activities that they can start doing in their natural environment to best prepare the child for a group when they transition to a preschool setting.
Topics will include best practices for a language rich environment, asking and answering questions for clarification, and creating listening opportunities across all environments.
