Early Intervention Methods: Sensory Strategies

Description

Young children learn in a sensory manner-- that is, through their senses. This workshop provides professionals with an exploration of intervention strategies through a sensory lens.

Professionals will undertake an overview of sensory processing, as well as the impact of sensory processing on children's daily routines. Specific sensory strategies that will help a baby reach a calm, alert state, or a toddlers reach a state of self-control, is the primary strategic focus of this workshop. No matter how one provides early intervention services, these sensory strategies will enhance delivery methods.
