Description |
This session provides a rationale and the requirements for collection of child and family outcomes data and thoroughly reviews each outcome with examples of the types of skills encompassed by individual outcomes.
Participants can expect to gain a greater understanding of how t make the child outcomes summary work by imbedding it into the IFSP process. Challenging situations and special circumstances from the field in and around data collection are also discussed.
Strategies for integrating the child and family outcome into the early intervention process, from referral to transition, are presented. Participants will also build upon their understanding of child development as it relates to questions 8, 9, and 10.
Discussion will also focus on how to support the family and facilitate team decisions. The group will practice team consensus building and practice determining child outcomes ratings as a team.A $10 registration fee will be collected on site.
