Battelle Development Inventory-2

Description

This one-day training will provide an overview of the Battelle Developmental Inventory, Second Edition (BDI-2), a standardized, individually administered assessment battery of key developmental skills in children from birth through age 7.

The tool may be used for eligibility determination for Birth to Three Early Intervention Services and Preschool Special Education. This training will provide an overview of the test’s standardized protocols, scoring methodology, interpretation of ?ndings for eligibility, and use of the ?ndings for development of the individualized education program (IEP) or individual family service plan (IFSP).

Participants will practice using the tool and scoring by observing children on video clips. Participants will leave the session with the ability to use and score protocols for the BDI-2 from birth through kindergarten, interpret scores, and use the BDI-2 to determine eligibility.
