Music and Movement Therapy

Description

Music can stimulate the mind, grab one's attention, and increase motivation. This is done to help individuals participate more fully in other aspects of their life. Music can assist in setting behavioral expectations, providing reassurance, and maintaining structure for children with special needs. By combining structured music and movement that connects the right and left hemispheres of the brain, one can accomplish a complete cognitive thinking approach. Music and movement can help improve peer interaction, the ability to perform, and overall enrichment of life.
