Description |
All babies come into the world with optimism and a desire to be close to their caregivers. This workshop will help you to understand your baby's age-appropriate social and emotional developmental needs in their first year of life and how to lovingly help him fall asleep and respond to his cries. We will also discuss the need to balance the life-changing experience of caregiving with an infant with your own needs. The first half of the session will be informational based on the latest in child development research. The second half will be an open forum where caregivers can share challenges, ask specific questions, and troubleshoot typical situations with the instructors and other caregivers.
