Early Intervention for Children with Hearing Loss: A to Z

Description

This introductory workshop is designed for early intervention providers, early childhood educators and SLPs helping children who are d/hh age birth to 3 learn listening and spoken language.

Topics include accessing audiologic and family services; assessments for birth to 3; family support, counseling and weekly sessions; group instruction; characteristics of successful early interventionists; the transition process at age 3 and resources for professionals. Participants will have the opportunity to observe in the CID family center nursery class classrooms. Prerequisite: View CID's free webinar, Audiology 101: The Basics, at learn.cid.edu.
