Self Regulation to Praxis

Description

This course is designed for therapists and teachers seeking a basic understanding of self-regulatory disorders, sensory integration, processing disorders and how to integrate SI theory into their therapy practice or classroom. This course is very attractive to therapists and teachers working with children who have problems with modulation, regulation, and organization which impacts their physical functioning, treatment sessions or classroom work and attention. Course material will focus on basic concepts of theory, assessment and treatment of sensory integration dysfunctions as they relate to a variety of diagnostic categories. Treatment strategies will be adapted for therapists treating in the home environment.
