WS 403. Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy With Infants and Toddlers

Description

Participants will gain an understanding of the use of CIMT with infants and toddlers. Participants will learn how to fabricate casts for infants, apply the components of CIMT intervention, document and assess outcomes through the use of lecture, videos, hands on demonstration and case studies.

Learning Objective One: At the conclusion of this session, participants will have an understanding of the underlying theory and rationale for the use of CIMT with infants and toddlers.

Learning Objective Two: At the conclusion of this session, participants will have a basic understanding of CIMT casting techniques.

Learning Objective Three: At the conclusion of this session, participants will have an understanding of the components of infant and toddler CIMT intervention and how to apply them in pediatric practice settings.
