Understanding and Treating Infants with Plagiocephaly

Objectives:
--Demonstrate basic knowledge of normal skull anatomy
--Identify abnormal headshapes including plagiocephaly, brachycephaly and scaphocephaly and how to assess their severity
--Demonstrate understanding of risk factors of abnormal headshape
--Demonstrate the role of the therapist in the prevention and treatment of plagiocephaly and torticollis
--Demonstrate basic knowledge of band treatment of plagiocephaly
--Demonstrate basic understanding of common abnormal head shapes
