Sensory Strategies to Improve Attention Span and Focus

The objective of this workshop is to increase awareness of factors and situations that impact attention span and focus for the infant, toddler/young child and strategies to help this population develop and succeed.

Parents and Therapists will leave this seminar with an understanding that poor attention span in infants and toddlers usually is not just resistance or ‘poor behavior’, that there are other considerations an understanding of the variety of factors that impact attention span and focus a ‘bag of tricks’ to assist toddlers and infants to participate more functionally in desired activities, including family activities and routines an understanding of how professionals can pass this information to parents so that they can participate in assisting their child to develop and function successfully.
