Description |
The RBI has been used in the Illinois Early Intervention system for a little over a year. This training is to consider how we are using the family assessment, including the RBI and the ASQ- SE, to create meaningful IFSPs. We discuss the importance/requirement to conduct the family assessment. In addition, we think about strategies to complete both the ASQ-SE and RBI in the context of the intake and evaluation process. We also think about how we include providers in the process so that strengths and challenges can be addressed in the IFSP. Finally, we strategize about serving children and families with social emotional issues. Case Examples and Service Coordinator to Service Coordinator discussion is utilized.
