Explore the use of empowering directive and non-directive play therapy treatment techniques such as: games, art and music. These play interventions will be useful in working with children in indiviudal and group settings. Participants will learn theories of play therapy, non directive session examples, use of play therapy games, art/ music techniques to implement during sessions and group play techniques. Play therapy techniques will relate to domains of developmental milestones. Each participant will receive Handout: Play Therapy Goody Bag with Activity Instructions to start using the Power of Play-Everyday!
