Assessing Risk Factors in Children: Are they inherited or environmental?

Description

Understanding the nature of developmental delays is a key component in assessing a young children's development. For this workshop, Dr. Nelson will describe key factors that help the assessment process in understanding if a child's risk factors are part of his/her environment or inherited. Through assessment and on-going evaluation researchers, along with EI professionals, can better understand if a child's delays are part of their environment or part of their genetics.
