Helping Families Navigate DSCC

Description

Service coordinators often work with families whose child has medical and/or significant developmental challenges. Because of their child's challenges, many of the families are eligible for DSCC (Division of Specialized Care for Children) from Illinois. One of the responsibilities of service coordinators is to refer families to DSCC when appropriate. This seminar will overview DSCC and the services it provides to families and familiarize the service coordinators with the enrollment and service delivery process, so they will be better able to inform the family.
