ADOS Booster Training for Clinicians

Description

This training is meant for individuals who have already been trained in the ADOS and would like to get training in the Toddler Module (for children 12-30 months of age), as well as review changes from ADOS to ADOS-2. The training will be a two-day training: the first day will review updated protocols, revised algorithms, and a new “Comparison Score”. The second day will focus on the Toddler Module: administration, coding, and algorithms.

The ADOS-2, like its predecessor, is a semi-structured, standardized assessment of communication, social interaction, play, and restricted and repetitive behaviors. The ADOS-2 can be used to evaluate individuals at different developmental levels and chronological ages, from children between 12 and 30 months of age who do not consistently use phrase speech to adults who are verbally fluent. It takes about 30-45 minutes to administer.
