Description |
Research continues to show us how important the first three years of life are to a child's development and how important families are in this process. As a home visitor, you have significant impact on the growth and development of the children you work with and their families.
This Training Institute Series gives participants the opportunity to come together to discuss and reflect on the many issues around home visiting such as:
*Building family-professional partnerships
*Setting up activities in a way that supports parent-child engagement as well as parent-child competence and confidence.
* Sharing ideas, strategies and resource to build upon and strengthen day-to-day practices in home visiting.
We only have a short time to work with infants, toddler and their families - so let's make the most of that time!
This training series is comprised of 4 face-to-face sessions with required videotaping assignments to be completed between sessions. Participants must be committed to participate in all aspects of this Institute in order to receive 25 hours of Illinois Early Intervention credit. No Partial Credit Will Be Awarded.
