MNRI Breathing Reflex Integration

Description

The breathing system serves as a core foundation for all functioning. The MNRI Breathing Reflex Integration course will help explain the links of the breathing system and other reflex patterns serving for formation of foundational skills, including eating/drinking, moving and speaking. This course focuses on breathing in relationship to reflex patterns in all individuals, with a special focus on children with special needs and developmental challenges. The early reflex patterns serve for the formation of positive survival in individuals and create the “anchors” based on natural innate mechanisms of neurodevelopment and neuroplasticity. This course also helps to explain the basis for the development of proprioceptive-cognitive anchors, fine motor coordination, auditory-processing, memory, speech-sound articulation, self-regulation and self-management through the integration of the breathing reflex patterns.
