Staying Present in the Midst of Chaos: Using Mindful Self-Regulation in Practice

Description

Mindful self-regulation can be an important tool when coping with strong reactions and feelings that arise in our work with families. This presentation will focus on our internal experience and process as infant mental health practitioners and how the use of mindful self-regulation can help us to be more present and supportive to the families we work with. The presenters will lead activities illustrating the use of mindfulness with families of all ages, as well as provide opportunities for participants to engage in mindfulness practice.
