When professionals work with families that appear unresponsive or fail to follow through, the situation can be very frustrating. Learning how to effectively work with families is absolutely vital for successful interventions with children birth to three years old. This workshop explores the stages of acceptance that families may experience when dealing with disabilities and special needs, as well as supporting those families that struggle with follow-through accept a diagnosis and referral.
