New Mothers and Musculoskeletal Disorders: An Ergonomic Approach to Treatment and Prevention

Description

New mothers may begin to experience symptoms of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) soon after beginning to provide care for a newborn, yet many conservative treatment options are not feasible. This seminar will provide an ergonomic and occupation-based approach to treatment of MSDs in new mothers by breaking down the tasks of childcare and providing practical solutions to helping new mothers care for themselves while caring for their child.
