System Overview for Bilingual Interpreters and Translators in the Illinois Early Intervention System

Description Required training for all bilingual interpreters and translators seeking enrollment in the Illinois Early Intervention System.

This three-day training provides a comprehensive overview of the Illinois Early Intervention System in conjunction with information about the roles an interpreter and a translator fulfill when they becomes enrolled to provide services. Interpreters and translators can expect to learn about specific activities, responsibilities, and ethical guidelines unique to their role within the Illinois Early Intervention System.


Attendees are asked to bring a favorite dictionary, if available, and notepad.

Participants must attend all three days of this training series in order to receive attendance credit.
