The Transaction between Sensory Processing, Emotions, and Behavior

Description

This workshop will provide participants with a working understanding of the interrelationships between the autonomic, limbic, and sensory systems as they support emotional and behavioral development and control. Special emphasis will be placed on the critical reasoning involved in intervention for young children with sensory processing disorders and ways to support daily routines to enhance emotional and behavioral development. The presentation format will include lecture, discussion, and case presentations to weave the workshop content together.
