This short course will examine how to evaluate and treat sensory processing disorders in infants and children from 0-3 years of age. Do sensory processing disorders look the same in an infant as they do in a 5 year old child? Evidence from the field of early intervention will be incorporated into current knowledge related to sensory processing disorders to discuss occupational therapy intervention for sensory processing disorders outside the clinic setting.

,1) Apply sensory processing concepts from the clinic to natural environments
,2) Discuss infant and toddler behaviors from a sensory and from an emotional perspective
