Bi-lingual Language Proficiency Exams for Interpreters/Translators in IL Early Intervention.

Description All bi-lingual interpreters and translators enrolling to bill Illinois Early Intervention are required to complete the 3-day Systems Overview for Bilingual Interpreters/Translators in Early Intervention and meet language proficiency requirements prior to applying to Provider Connections to enroll with the Central Billing Office.

Those taking the oral interpretation and/or written translation exams are required to have first completed the 3-day Training.

The oral interpretation and written translation proficiency examinations are facilitated by the EI Training Program at a cost of $85 per exam to those taking the test(s). Cash or check/money order payable to the University of Illinois accepted.

PLEASE NOTE: ONLY WRITTEN TRANSLATION EXAMS ARE BEING SCHEDULED AT THIS TIME. ORAL INTERPRETATION EXAMS WILL BE SCHEDULED FOR A LATER DATE.
You will have a maximum of two hours to complete your exam and may bring one dictionary of choice - paper book type only. No electronic devices allowed. Paper will be provided for note taking; however your notes will be collected with your exam.


Your $85 processing fee will be accepted at the door. Cash or check/money order payable to the University of Illinois accepted.
