Children with medical disorders have multiple factors which impact their development. Seizure disorder in particular can be difficult to diagnose and effectively treat. Seizure disorder is an umbrella term; there are many types of disorders which have seizures as a part of the symptomology. This workshop will discuss on overview of seizure disorder and the importance of individualizing intervention, building upon the child's strengths while addressing the families concerns.
