Stress Management and Self-Care for Caregivers

Description

Objective: To give resources to those in care-giving roles(ie. parents, foster care parents, teachers, counselors, social workers) and an in-depth exploration of how stress affects our brains, human development, health and relationships. You will learn key terms related to stress, brain development and neurophysiological/affect regulation as well as identify personal signs of dysregulation. This is an opportunity to discover benefits of stress management and self-care practices as well as tips to foster the development of stress management skills and resiliency in children.
