A Discussion on the Importance of Connection and Relationship-Based Practices in Early Intervention

This workshop focuses on the importance of connecting with families in Early Intervention, based on the diverse families with whom they work. Relationship-based practices will be discussed with the various family dynamics providers see during their Early Intervention home visits. Case consultation will also occur so the Early Intervention providers have an opportunity to discuss the connections they have observed between children and their caregivers. Ways to increase connections with families will also be discussed.
