Educational Kinesiology (EK) teaches specific movements of the body that are intended to improve brain functioning. EK includes techniques such as "repatterning" which is designed for integration of both hemispheres of the brain. One of the most popular EK programs, Brain Gyms is a set of physical activities designed to enhance learning ability and develop the brain's neural pathways through movement. Brain Gym includes 26 targeted dance and stretching activities improving concentration, memory, reading, writing, organizing, listening and physical coordination.
