Transition from EI to EC can be a confusing process for Service Coordinators, providers, and parents. This is an ongoing, collaborative workshop between CPS transition representatives and the CFCs geared toward clarifying procedures and timelines associated with the transition process; addressing the roles and responsibilities of Service Coordinators, parents, and the LEA; improving the quality of transition meetings; and having ongoing dialogue on how we can improve the process for everyone involved –especially families.
