System Overview for Bilingual Interpreters and Translators in the IL Early Intervention System

Description Required Training for all bi-lingual Interpreters and Translators seeking enrollment in the Illinois Early Intervention System, this three-day training provides a comprehensive overview of the Illinois Early Intervention System in conjunction with information about the roles an interpreter and a translator fulfill when enrolled to provide services. Interpreters and translators can expect to learn about specific activities, responsibilities, and ethical guidelines unique to their role within the Illinois Early Intervention System.

Those attending are asked to bring a favorite dictionary, if available, and a notepad.

Registrants must attend all three days of this training event to receive a Certificate of Attendance.
Day 1 - Monday, September 23
Day 2 - Tuesday, September 24
Day 3 - Wednesday, September 25

A $30 registration fee will be collected at the door. Cash or Check/Money Order payable to the University of Illinois accepted.
