Description |
Early intervention service coordinators and providers can sometimes observe or witness interactions and/or suspicious circumstances around a young child's health and well-being. Many times these experiences require EI professionals to consider calling the DCFS hotline as a protective response for the child's well-being.
In this seminar we will review the mandated reporter guidelines for calling DCFS and discuss the process for decision-making. We will also learn about the process for DCFS to follow-up and make determinations.
