Facilitating Play for Children with Special Needs

Description

Facilitating Play for Children with Special Needs was developed to help parents of children with special needs learn basic play facilitation skills, including techniques for verbal and non-verbal positive reinforcement, following a child’s lead, expanding play, and repeating play activities. Conducted by a Lekotek professional, the course includes MS PowerPoint slides, video, activities, and discussion designed to introduce and reinforce the play facilitation skills.
