Assessment Enhancement

Description

One of the keys to a good child development assessment is to include an observational component. Best practices recommend observing, interpreting and reporting what has been seen as well as the skills that have been tested. All professionals working with very young children are constantly involved in observation data collection. Learning how to interpret behavior from a neuroscience perspective is the focus of this Webinar. Participants will learn to “read” the cues that are related to a child’s unique neurological functioning. By enhancing assessment in this way, child development professionals will be able to more fully understand a child’s individual developmental profile and in turn be able to individualize subsequent intervention practices.
