Child Outcomes in Action

Description This next level training builds upon the online training, "Understanding the Illinois Child Outcomes Process" by further exploring the child outcomes process as a tool to support the team in understanding the child's functional skills and abilities and to assess change over time.
This session provides a brief review of the rationale and requirements for Illinois' child outcomes process and will thoroughly review each of the outcomes, exploring examples of the types of skills that would be encompassed by individual outcomes. As understanding typical development is the foundation of the child outcomes process, participants will have the opportunity to strengthen and refresh their understanding of typical development in infants and toddlers and will gain a deeper understanding of how to make the child outcomes summary form work by embedding it into the IFSP process. Participants will also problem solve and discuss challenging situations and special circumstances from the field.

$10 registration fee will be collected at the door. Cash or Check/Money Order payable to the University of Illinois accepted.
