Early Hearing Detection and Intervention (EHDI) programs have been in existence officially for over 13 years. After providing a brief background on EHDI and its traditional goals, this presentation will include contemporary topics such as cumulative EHDI data, changes in procedures and perspectives, the NICHQ initiatives for improved outcomes, and the EHDI-PALS resources.
