Revised Assessment Methods for Autism: Learning from the recently published DSM 5

Description

The DSM 5 was just recently published after a decade of planning. Part of the planning and system of revision is becoming familiar with the new descriptors for Autism and the process of Autism diagnosis and assessment. In this workshop, Cesar Ochoa, MD, as Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician, will review some of the revisions and meanings regarding some of the changes of the Autism diagnoses. In addition, he will describe the process for diagnostic/assessment experience in practice with young children.
