Pursuant to Part C of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) as amended in 2004, the Illinois Department of Human Services has posted the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2013 Annual State Application Under Part C of IDEA (pdf). Part C of IDEA addresses services for children birth to 3 years of age with developmental disabilities or delays and their families. The application will be posted at least 60 days prior to being submitted.
Copies for review are available at all 25 Child and Family Connections offices. For Illinois residents, you may locate the CFC office nearest you by calling 800/323-4769.
Public comment will be taken on the application for 30 days. Comments will be accepted beginning February 15, 2013. All comments must be received in writing by close of day March 16, 2013. Please send written comments to:
