A unique learning opportunity open to all early interventionists of all disciplines, including service coordinators, this cohort groups the sessions of the IL Early Intervention Training Program's three Institute Series. Attend all three Institute Series and you could earn 75 hours of EI credit!
The Partnering for Success Institute challenges participants to look deeper into the key principles that guide best practices in early intervention. The Infant/Toddler Assessment Institute enhances participants' knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices to better obtain assessment information that more accurately portrays a child's true abilities. The Baby Steps Infant/Toddler Development Institute is an excellent refresher of infant/toddler development to support participants' ability to implement developmentally appropriate practices in the day-to-day work in early intervention.
Taken separately, each Institute Training Series allows participants opportunity to build upon their knowledge and experience, network and share ideas; however, grouped as a cohort they provide participants the foundation to create stronger and more meaningful communities of practice over the course of this extended learning experience.
