As of August 1, 2012, Amy Tarr began her new position as Chief of the Bureau of Early Childhood Development for the Illinois Department of Human Services (Department) with the Division of Family & Community Services. Amy, whose office is located in Springfield, Illinois,is responsible for the Illinois Early Intervention Program, the AOK Network, Project Launch, Home Visiting and other childhood development programs. Amy also has been designated as the Part C (Early Intervention) Coordinator for the state of Illinois. Amy's former position was asDeputy General Counsel with the Department and was responsible for providing legal guidance to many Department programs, including the Early Intervention Program. She has been with the Department since 2000. We are all delighted to welcome her to the division.
