RE: Early Intervention System Training for Interpreters for the Deaf

Individuals enrolling in the Early Intervention System as an interpreter for the deaf must meet licensing requirements and document the completion of Early Intervention Systems Training.

Effective May 1, 2014, these individuals must document completion of the Online System Overview prior to enrollment and will be encouraged, but not required, to attend the face-to-face follow-up session.

If you have questions concerning this change in policy, please contact Eileen DeRoze, Early Intervention Bureau Staff at 217/782-1981.
